DESCRIPTION: EPW - Lepine, Paris, center-seconds with virgule escapement, 61mm, likely 16K gold (tested 14K or greater) OF original case, signed gilt cuvette with "Wind up" and "Set the hands" marking, white enamel dial, KWKS, virgule escapement, gilt mvt, s#5351 within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 75.9 dwt (118.2 g).
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered fine to micro-fine scratches, some areas of mild haze to gilt surfaces; flawless dial; excellent hands, small bend to tip of minute; case shows light wear, profuse micro-fine scratches to rear, small ding right of rear center, very mild protruding ding above-left of rear center, scrapes or small dings to bezel at 3, few small nicks elsewhere to bezel and rear perimeter, cuvette opens correctly and closes securely but is not seating flush to underlying band when closed as it's latch is allowing it to lift somewhat; bow pivots freely and has darkened area at top from soldered past repair; good domed glass crystal.
